Peter Maina
A young eighteen year old (b 14/11/93) he signed for the reserves at the start of the 2012/13 season having played for Stanway Rovers Reserves at sixteen years of age. He then went to Wivenhoe Town’s first team and Colne College playing for the AFC Sudbury Under 19 side. He made his first team debut on 9th October 2012 in a SPC game at Bury Town and scored. He signed Ryman League forms for the club on 11th October 2012 and stayed though to the end of the 2012/13 season. He started pre-season 2013/14 with the club, however on 31st July 2013 it was announced he would be going out on loan to gain more experience. On 8th August 2013 he joined Haverhill Rovers on loan and scored on his debut for them. In the middle of September 2013 he had signed for Heybridge Swifts, however on 26th October he was back with Wivenhoe Town. On 25th July 2014 he was playing yet again for Heybridge Swifts, but on 20th September played yet again for Wivenhoe. He was still there in February 2015. On 23rd July 2015 he appeared to have left Wivenhoe Town. On 13th January 2016 he stated that he was not playing any football, however on 16th January he had signed and played for FC Clacton. On 15th October 2016 Cambridge City announced that they had signed him. Wivenhoe Town stated on 10th February 2017 that he had signed once again for them, however on 25th February he played for Soham Town Rangers and scored on his debut. He remained with them for the 2017/18 season and was on the bench against AFC on 26th September 2017. On 5th September he had left and joined Ipswich Wanderers, however on 8th December 2017 he was announced as a new signing for Brantham Athletic.

Gianfranco Mallardo
A midfielder, and older brother of Stefano he joined the club at the start of the 2014/15 season, to play initially for the Reserves/U21's, joining from Leiston where he had some Ryman League experience. His first taste of first team football came as a substitute on 24th January 2015. His previous clubs include Coplestonians, Hadleigh United, Grundisburgh, Ipswich Valley Rangers and Ipswich Wanderers. He left at the end of the season and in July 2015 joined Whitton United. He remained with them until the end of the season and rejoined again for the 2016/17 season and played for them on 4th February 2017 against AFC. He continued with them in the 2017/18 season playing on 27th January 2018 and remained until the end of the season. On 6th July 2018 he had joinec Diss Town for the 2028/19 season.

Stefano Mallardo
A seventeen-year-old defender, when he joined the club to play for the reserves at the start of the 2014/15 season. A product of the Colchester United Centre of Excellence, he had been with Leiston the previous season where he played Ryman football. He made his first team debut on 25th August 2014. In May 2015 he was named as the Reserves/U21's Managers Player Of The Year. He returned at the start of the 2015/16 season and was in the first team squad for the first game of the season 8th August 2015. On 1st October he signed dual registration forms to play for Whitton United. On 15th October he played for and was appointed Captain of the Suffolk FA Under 18's side. He returned to AFC and played for the first team as they won the Ryman North Championship for 2015/16. He remained with the club for 2016/17 and played for both the reserves and first team before on 7th November 2016 joined Heybridge Swifts on a thirty-five day loan. The loan was extended but on 12th January 2017 it was cancelled and he returned to AFC and was on the first team bench on 14th January 2017. On 27th January he joined Wroxham on a long term loan until the end of the season. He did return to the club in April 2017 and played a couple of Under 21 games. On 13th May 2017 he announced he had left the club. Felixstowe and Walton United announced he had joined them for the 2017/18 season on 4th July 2017. He remained with 'The Seasiders' until 18th January 2018 when he left and joined Whitton United, where he stayed until the end of the season. On 19th June 2018 they announced he had agreed to stay there for the 2018/19 season.

Luke Mallett
A defender ( b10/12/97) started his football career with the Ipswich Town Academy and then the Colchester United one. Played for Braintree Town Reserves in April 2015 in season 2016/17, he went on loan to Witham Town and played for them on 1st November 2016. In February 2016 he played for Suffolk FA Under 18’s. He was signed from Braintree Town on 31st August 2017 and was an unused substitute on 2nd September. He was released back to Braintree on 5th September. On 14th September 2017 he joined Brightlingsea Regent. On 7th November he had re-joined Witham Town on a short term loan, however he was still with them on 27th January 2018.

Russell Malton
A 19 year old forward (b 14/11/90) who started his career with the Colchester United academy and was in their under 18 side in December 2007. ‘Malts’ was in their first team squad in September 2009. In early November 2009 he went on loan to Heybridge Swifts until January 2010 when he went on a months’ loan with Billericay Town. He re-joined Heybridge in March 2010 for a second loan period, Colchester United released him at the end of the 2009/10 season and he joined up with Concord Rangers, but was allowed to leave on 20th August joining up yet again with Heybridge and playing just one game before on 26th August they announced he would not play for them again. He signed for AFC on 3rd September 2010 and made his debut the next day, he played only eight games before being released on 14th October 2010. He signed for Stanway Rovers the next day and on his debut for them on 16th October scored twice. On 18th November he had signed again for Concord Rangers, however on 3rd February 2012 Stanway announced that he had returned to them. On 1st July 2011 he had signed a contract to stay at the club until the end of 2011/12. On 29th May 2012 Heybridge Swifts announced he had re-signed for them and he remained with them throughout the 2012/13 season. On 9th June 2013 the club announced he was staying with them for the 2013/14 season and he was still there in November 2013. On 10th December 2013 he signed for Needham Market and was with them in the Ryman North play-offs in late April 2014. On 26th May 2014 the club announced that they would not be retaining his services for 2014/15. Brightlingsea Regent stated on the 18th June that he had joined them for 2014/15. He remained with them until January 2015 when he decided to stop playing. On 18th August 2015 he was back with Brightlingsea and played against AFC, was still there in April 2016. He returned for the 2016/17 season and was playing for them on 11th February 2017, and at the end of the season won a Ryman North Championship Winners medal with them. On 12th May 2017 he announced he had left the North Road club. On 14th October 2017 he had signed for Aveley.

Ian Manby
Joined the club in 2004/05 as a defender from Cornard United, having played for many local clubs he was part of the reserve side but played in a couple of Eastern Floodlight games. He became part of the Reserve team management during season 2005/06 and remained so in season 2006/07. When Reserve team manager Bob Fletcher decided to stand down at the end of the 2006/07 season he was appointed to the post with effect from the start of the 2007/08 season. He remained at the club for season 2008/09 as Reserve Team Manager, and in May 2009 the Chell Trophy was won. The 2009/10 season saw him stay in position at King’s Marsh and it continued into the 2010/11 season when the side reached the final of the Suffolk Senior Reserve Team Cup. He was again manager of the reserve side for 2011/12, however in the middle of January 2012 he was appointed as temporary assistant first team manager. On 15th May 2012 he reverted back to be the reserve team manager and continued to the end of the 2012/13 season winning the Suffolk Senior Reserve Cup. He began pre-season 2013/14 at the club but on 30th July he had departed.

Matthew Mann
He was signed on 2nd January 2006 from Cambridge United as cover for the injured Paul Rutherford. A 17-year-old youth team keeper who made his debut in the 6-1 win at Mildenhall that same day. He played in the next game at home to Cambridge City, and then he went to play for Burnley Youths in the F.A. Youth Cup before returning to Cambridge but was released on 1st June 2006. He then played for Enfield, Chessington & Hook before starting the 2007/08 season with Thurrock and then was with Harrow Borough in September 2007. The 2008/09 season saw him start with Godalming Town and on 18th November 2008 he was transferred to Whyteleafe. In February 2009 he was playing for Sutton United’s reserve side. He was transferred to Corinthian Casuals on 6th March 2009 and was still there in September 2011.

Nicky Marlow
A goalkeeper who joined the club at the start of the 2005/06 season, having previously been with Long Melford, Cornard United and other local clubs. He was called into first team action in the away F. A. Cup game in September 2005 against Welwyn Garden City after Paul Rutherford broke down in the pre-match warm up. ‘The Cat’ played for the Reserve side during the season and was part of the Suffolk Junior Cup winning side at Portman Road Ipswich in April 2006. He signed again for the club in season 2006/07, but played only a few reserve games before deciding not to play anymore. In season 2009/10 he was playing again this time for Sudbury Athletic, reaching the final of the Suffolk Junior Cup in April 2010. In September 2011 he continue to do work as a builder in the Sudbury area. In March 2012 he had stopped playing football and was playing some rugby with Bury RFC.

Joe Marsden
A defender or midfield man (b 25/03/93) he started out in youth football with Lowestoft Town. In April 2011 he played for the Norfolk FA Under 18’s side. July 2011 he signed for Dereham Town and stayed there throughout the 2011/12 season. At the start of the 2012/13 season July 2012 he joined Wroxham where he stayed until the end of the 2013/14 season. In July 2014 he rejoined Lowestoft Town on a two–year contract and remained there until 26th November 2016 when he left and signed for Leiston. From there he signed on a forty-two day loan for AFC starting on 24th February 2017 and made his debut the following day. He played seven games and returned to Leiston on 7th April. He was playing again for them on 18th July 2017 and remained with them until the end of the 2017/18 season. On 17th May 2018 he announced that he had left Leiston, and on 24th May he signed for Needham Market for the 2018/19 season.

Keith Martin
He was the manager of Sudbury Wanderers and became the first AFC manager in June 1999. Keith (b 22/05/41) played for March Railway and March Town Reserves and later on after moving to the Sudbury area Highbury Barn. He started off his managerial career with Highbury Barn, progressing to Cornard United, Halstead Town and Braintree Town before coming to Brundon Lane. Won the Jewson League Championship in 2000/01 and 2001/02 the Suffolk Premier Cup in 2001/02 and reached the F.A. Vase semi-final the same season. In March 2003 decided that he would stand down at the end of the season, this he did after leading AFC to the Vase final at Upton Park in May 2003. On 15th December 2003 he joined Wroxham as their joint manager. In May 2004 was appointed as manager of Heybridge Swifts. In the early part of July 2004 was admitted to hospital where he had a big toe amputated. On 8th November due to ill health he resigned from Heybridge Swifts. In the middle of May 2005 it was announced that he was returning to Halstead Town as their assistant manager. On 15th September 2005 the Suffolk Free Press reported he had left because he was no longer enjoying it. He did not enjoy the best of health during 2007 and in July 2008 was again hospitalised. His death, aged 67, was announced on 1st September 2008 at his home Langley Hall. His funeral service was on 18th September at Holy Trinity Church Long Melford and he was buried later the same day at Great Cornard.

Robbie Martin
A forward born in Manchester 29/12/84. He started his career with Watford before joining Maidenhead United, Hornchurch, Braintree Town, Havant and Waterlooville, Braintree again, then at the start of the 2010/11 season St Albans City. He signed for AFC on 11th March 2011 and made his debut the following day. He re-joined again at the start of the 2011/12 season and played throughout it as he did in the 2012/13 season. He returned in late June 2013 for pre-season training but on 12th July 2013 Harlow Town announced he had joined them for the 2013/14 season. He remained with them throughout the 2013/14 season into the Ryman North play-offs in April 2014. On 16th July he had re-joined 'The Hawks' for the 2014/15 season, however on 26th July they announced that he had been released by them. On 7th August 2014 he signed for Enfield Town, however on 6th September he had re-joined Harlow Town where he remained until the end of the season. On 11th July 2015 he was back playing for Harlow, however on 21st July he returned and played in a pre-season game for AFC at Long Melford. On 5th August 2015 he signed once again for AFC, and remained until 22nd November 2015 when he was released. On 11th August 2016 he had joined Thurrock FC. On 15th July 2017 he was back with Harlow Town and played for them on 27th January 2018.

Ryan Maxwell
A midfielder (b16/06/83) he started his footballing career at Chelsea in their youth system before joining Crystal Palace and Reading in 1999 before in 2002 signing for Grays Athletic. In 2003 he played three games for Hamilton Academicals and in season 2004/05 he went to Raith Rovers leaving in January 2005. He joined Dagenham and Redbridge but did not make an appearance and to Redbridge and then Basingstoke Town in August 2005. He played twice and then in October went to Margate. January 2006 saw him join Bishop’s Stortford on loan From Gravesend and Northfleet. Welsh league club Llaneliin was his next stop in July 2006 playing in UEFA Cup qualifying ties for them. In October 2006 he was with Tonbridge Angels, before joining both Braintree Town and Boreham Wood during the 2007/08 season. Before in 2008/09 playing in Northern Ireland for Larne, he returned in March 2008 and played for Welling United. At the start of 2009/10 he made two appearances for St Albans City before leaving for Waltham Abbey and then Harlow Town in October 2011. At the start of the 2012/13 season he re-joined Grays Athletic and was there at the start of 2013/4 season as a player/coach. In March 2014 he left and went to Heybridge Swifts before joining AFC at the start of June 2014. He became the club's fitness coach and played also until in the middle of October 2014. His contract was terminated on 8th November 2014 after a discipline problem and on 20th November he signed for Witham Town. He did not make many appearances at the Spa Road club during the 2014/15 season. On the eve of the 2015/16 season, 7th August 2015 he had re-joined one of his former clubs, Heybridge Swifts. Ware announced he had joined them on 4th August 2015 and he was still there in October 2015, however on 5th December he was back playing for Heybridge Swifts. On 6th August 2016 he was playing for Waltham Forest and also involved in their coaching. He remained with them until 5th January when the club announced he had left. On 7th November he had joined Ware FC and was on the bench for them, however on 11th December 2017 he had left. On 6th February 2018 he was named as the manager of Waltham Forest and remained with them until the end of the season. He was retained as the newly named Wathamstow FC for the 2018/19 season.

Joe Maybanks
A eighteen-year-old forward (b 01/01/96) when he joined AFC on a month's loan on 5th November 2015 from Braintree Town. He started out as a schoolboy with West Ham United, before at sixteen signing for Colchester United as a scholar. He stayed for a year before signing a two-year contract with Braintree Town. He played some National League games for them from August 2014, as well as for the reserve side. On 25th September 2015 he went on a months loan with Bury Town. On 8th January 2016 his loan at AFC was extended until the end of the 2015/16 season and he won a Championship winners medal at the end of it. He then returned to his parent club at the end of the loan. On 9th July 2016 he appeared and scored for the Braintree first team in a pre-season friendly and he remained with them through out the 2016/17 season. On 3rd August 2017 he announced that he had left them. He joined for Bishop's Stortford in August 2017, before on 12th October he signed permanently for AFC. On 29th October 2017 he had departed, and on 10th November joined Saffron Walden. On 7th April 2018 he announced that he was now a free agent. On 25th May 2018 he signed for Brightlingsea Regent.

A midfielder (b 15/06/01), he was in the first year at the AFC Academy when selected to be on the first team bench on 11th November 2017 and came on to make his debut. He started the 2017/18 season playing Thurlow Nunn Youth League football and also in the First Division. He previously was with Whitton United and Ipswich Athletic.

Aynsley McDonald
An eighteen-year-old (b 25/01/92) defender signed for a months loan from Rushden and Diamonds on 17th September 2010, he made his debut the next day. He had the previous week played international football for the Welsh Under19 side. His previous clubs included Billericay Town, Wingate and Finchley and Banbury United. He returned to Rushden on 8th October, and was soon loaned out again this time to Banbury United, but before the end of the season returned once again to Rushden. On 3rd June 2011 Histon stated they were prepared to offering him a contact with them for the 2011/12 season. This did not materialise and on 20th June 2011 he was snapped up by Corby Town, he was still there in April 2012. In the early part of June 2012 the new formed AFC Rushden and Diamonds announced him as one of their first signings. On 31st October 2012 he left the club for personal reasons, and on 31st December 2012 he was with Earls Barton United and he was still there in May 2013.

Nathan McDonald
A eighteen-year-goalkeeper (b 16/05/91) signed in March 2010 as cover. He previously played for Southend United as a youth team player before joining Braintree Town from where he signed for AFC on a dual registration and made his debut on April 5th 2010. At the start of the 2010/11 season he was still with Braintree and in December 2010 he was a first team regular. He won promotion to the Conference with them at the end of April 2011, and in June 2011 signed a new contract with the club. On 25th August 2011 he was included in an England C international squad. He remained with the club through season 2011/12 and was there at the end of April 2012. He started the 2012/13 season still with the Cressing Road side but was unable to get a first team starting place and on 27th November 2012 went on loan to Billericay Town. This was terminated on 23rd December 2012 when he returned to Braintree and he stayed to the end of the 2012/13 season. In July 2013 he was still with Braintree and was still there in April 2014. On 26th July 2014 he was on loan and playing at Enfield Town where he remained until the end of the season. He returned to Cressing Road to play again for the club in 2015/16, however on 8th August 2015 he played again for Enfield Town on the opening day of the 2015/16 season. He remained with them throughout the 2015/16 season and was there in April 2016. He played for 'The Towners' throughout the 2016/17 season when the side were relegated. On 1st June 2017 he signed once again for Braintree Town where he remained for the 2017/18 season winning promotion at the end of it. On 27th June 2018 hevresigned with them forbthe 2018/19 season.

Mekhi McKenzie
A strong tall young attacker (b 27/01/99) he joined the AFC Academy/Reserve /U21's set up late in the 2016/17 season from Brightlingsea Regent. He made his first team debut as a substitute on 8th April 2017 and made one further appearance before the end of the season. He won medals as a winner of the Thurlow Nunn Youth League Championship, the Thurlow Youth Cup and the Suffolk FA Midweek Under 18 Cup. On 22nd May 2017 he signed a two-year contract with the club for the 2017/18 season. During the 2018/19 season Mekhi spent 3 months on loan at Framlingham Town. For the 2019/20 season Mekhi has been granted a season long loan to FC Clacton.

Ryan McNicholas
A sixteen year old forward (b 19/04/99) he joined the AFC Academy at the start of the 2015/15 season, July 2015. He had previously played for Bures United and Cornard Dynamos as a junior, He played Under 18's and Reserve football for AFC before making his first team debut as a substitute on 17th October 2015. He remained for the remainder of the 2015/16 season and and continued throughout the 2016/17 season playing reserve team and under 21 football. On 21st June 2017 the club announced he had left. On 27th march 2018 he was playing for Long Melford Reserves.

L'Heureux Menga
Big strong target man who has experience with a number of clubs including Dagenham and Redbridge, Welling United, East Thurrock United and last season Grays Athletic and Harrow Borough. He joined AFC at the start of the 2017/18 season and played four times before being released by mutual consent on 1st September 2017. On 28th October he was with Barking. He stayed until the 27th January 2018 when he was playing for Cheshunt.

Ian Miller
A central defender (b 23/11/83) he started his career in football with Bury Town in 2004 reaching the FA Vase semi-final with them and signing an eighteen month contract in January 2006. On 22nd September 2006 he joined Ipswich Town in the Football League on a contract until April 2007. In November 2006 he went on a month’s loan to Boston United that was extended until January 2007 (12 apps 0 goals). In February 2007 he went on a month’s loan at Football League club Darlington this was extended until April the same year, however he was recalled to Ipswich and made his only appearance for them on 31st March 2007 as a substitute. He agreed a new one-year contract with Ipswich in June 2007 and subsequently re-joined Darlington on an initial month's loan but it was extended until January 2008. On 11th January 2008 he joined Darlington permanently on a free transfer, signing a one-and-a-half-year contract. He stayed with them until December 2011 (150 apps 10 goals). He signed for Conference side Grimsby Town in January 2012 penning a sixteen-month contract and stayed until the end of the 2012/13 season, and playing in a losing FA Trophy Final at Wembley. (46 apps 4goals) He left in May 2013 and on 3rd June 2013 he became a player at Cambridge United signing a two-year contract. On 24th March 2014 he led the team to FA Trophy glory at Wembley defeating Gosport Borough. United reached the Conference play-off final at Wembley where he ruptured his Achilles' tendon as Cambridge won 2-1 against Gateshead, sending the club back into the Football League. The injury ruled him out for the majority of the next season. After playing very few games he was released on a free transfer at the end of the 2014/15 season. (49 apps 0 goals) After his time as captain at Cambridge United Miller became the club's Community Football Manager. At the start of the 2015/16 season he made one appearance for Braintree Town before joining Needham Market on 8th October 2015. In May 2017 he signed for Cambridge City where he stayed until 29th November 2017 (24 apps 0 goals) In August 2017 he became a coach at the AFC Sudbury Academy and on 7th December signed a playing contract with the club. He played a number if first team games and also helped guide the reserves and under 18 and under 19 sides. At the beginning of July 2018 he had left club.

Adam Mills
An attacking midfielder, (b 08/05/98) he started his football career in the Woodbridge Town youth system and represented Suffolk FA at both Under 16 and Under 18 levels. He joined the Needham Market Academy and played in the U18, U21 and Reserve sides, before he made his first team debut aged sixteen, in November 2013 scoring after coming on as a substitute. He signed a contract with ‘The Marketmen’ and played for them during 2014/15 winning a Ryman North Championship medal at the end of it. He stayed with them at the start of the 2015/16 season before in January 2016 leaving and signing for Maldon and Tiptree. He continued with them for season 2016/17 and helped them to second place and the play-offs, where the lost out. He signed for AFC in June 2017 and made his competitive debut on 12th August scoring on it. He played until 4th October scoring eleven goals in thirteen games before leaving on 6th October to go back to Needham Market.

Darren Mills
A young midfield player (b 16/01) signed by AFC from Tiptree United in September 2008, he had previously played for Whitton United. He made his debut as a substitute in the SPC against Woodbridge Town on 15th October 2008, but made only one other substitute appearance before leaving for Felixstowe and Walton United on 1st November 2008. He did not stay long and on 29th November 2008 joined Hadleigh United, he stayed until the end of the season but in July 2009 signed for Whitton United for 2009/10. He did not play for the club up to the end of December 2009. At the start of the 2010/11 he signed for Ipswich Wanderers but only played a few games before his employment in the Army took him to Afghanistan where he was in February 2011. On 23rd July 2011 he was playing for Hadleigh United and the club announced he had signed for the 2011/12 season. Hadleigh stated on 6th September he had been posted to Cardiff and be unavailable for them for the rest of the season. On 9th February 2013 he was playing for Grundisburgh in the SIL. August 2014 he was playing for Afan Lido FC in Wales and played his last game for them in November 2014. He also represented The British Army against The Germany Army in December 2014. On 1st January 2015 he was on the bench for Leiston and was still with in March 2015, he then played again for them at the start of the 2015/16 season 21st July 2015. On 11th September 2015 he transferred to Maldon and Tiptree and on his debut the next day was sent off. He was still there in April 2016 and returned for the 2016/17 season, however on 26th September he went on loan to Coggeshall Town. He won promotion with them at the end of the season. On 11th July 2017 he played and scored for Bury Town and remained with them until 15th February 2018 when he re-joined Leiston FC. He remained with them until the end of the season, then on 25th May they announced he had been offered a new deal but had turned it down and left. On 8th June 2018 he was unveilec as a new signing for 2018/19 at Brightlingsea Regent.

Sam Mills
An nineteen-year old defender (b 02/12/98) when joined the AFC Academy in 2015/16 season and played for the Under 18's and AFC Reserves. In season 2016/17 he was selected for the Suffolk Under 18's and continued with AFC where he also played for the Under 21 side before making his first team debut as a substitute away against Enfield Town on 7th January 2017. He remained with the club for the 2017/18 season and was on the bench for the first team on 3rd October 2017 before coming a first team regular in the 2017/18 season. Spent the 2018/19 season dual registered with Whitton United.

Scott Mitchell
A defender (b 02/09/85), he started his career with Ipswich Town making his debut in November 2003 and made four appearances. He left at the end of the 2005/06 season and joined Scottish Division One side Livingston in May 2006 on a two-year contract making over 40 first-team appearances. He joined Peterborough United in January 2008 making five appearances. From there he went to Rushden and Diamonds in the Conference in June 2008. In August 2009 he signed for Lowestoft Town, before signing for AFC on 6th August 2013 on a three-month loan deal. He scored on his competitive debut on 10th August 2013. On 3rd November 2013 he signed a permanent two year deal with the club, however on 18th July 2014 he was sold to Leiston. He stayed with the Victory Road club until 31st March 2015 when he re-signed for AFC where he played until the end of the season. On 17th June 2015 he re-joined Lowestoft Town, but left later in the season. He continued to work in the Ipswich Town Academy in 2016. On 25th May 2017 Stowmarket Town announced he had joined them on a one-year contract.

Kieran Monlouis
A midfielder (b 15/04/96) he started his football career at aged fourteen when he joined Crystal Palace where he stayed for two years before joining the Stoke City Academy in March 2012. He played in their Under 18’s side and also their Under 21 squad before in March 2015 leaving and signing for Charlton Athletic on a three-month contract. At the start of the 2015/16 season he signed for Maldon and Tiptree and remained with them until the end of the season. He continued with ‘The Jammers at the start of the 2016/17 season before leaving them on 16th January 2017. During his time there he made seventy- three appearances and scored five goals. He signed for AFC on 13th February 2017 and made his debut the next day. He remained only until 23rd March when he left and joined St Albans City.

Will Morris
A tall defender, he joined the club to play reserve football at the start of the 2003/04 season and stayed for part of 2004/05 when he played one Eastern Floodlight League game. He left in January 2005 to join Hadleigh United, he later went to Walsham le Willows in 2005/06 and in 2006/07 was with Halstead Town. In September 2008 he was playing for Witham Town, but on 28th March 2009 he signed again for AFC’s reserve side. He played only one game and then disappeared again.

Mark Morsley
Born 5th October 1964, he began his football career with Mistley United in the Essex and Suffolk Border League and became both manager and secretary during his time with the club. He left to join Harwich and Parkeston and became their reserve team manager, before becoming assistant first team boss. Joined Needham Market in October 2003 and was appointed first team manager, he guided them from the Ridgeons First Division to the Premier and also won the Suffolk Senior Cup. In season 2005/06 he took Needham to sixth place in the Premier Division and also on a good FA Vase run. At the end of the season he applied successfully for the vacancy as AFC Sudbury manager, thus becoming the club’s third manager since their formation. In the 2006/07 season he guided them to fifth place and into the play offs, the semi-final was won but the team lost out on penalties in the final to Harlow Town. He was still manager at the start of the 2007/08 season, and the club finished runners up in the League, but lost in the play off semi-final and were also losing finalists in the League Cup. He agreed to continue for season 2008/09 in March 2008. On 7th May 2008 he announced that he had resigned as manager of the club. This was after talks with the board asking for a budget that he thought would make the 2008/09 side competitive was turned down. On 7th June 2008 he was appointed as CEO at newly promoted Brantham Athletic. They announced on 28th October 2008 that he had left the club, and on 30th October he was unveiled as manager of Harwich and Parkeston. On 7th May 2009 he resigned from the job stating disagreement at the way the club was going forward. On 20th May he announced that he had returned to Needham Market to help manager Danny Laws. Season 2009/10 saw the club complete a league and cup double. On 4th May 2010 he was unveiled as the manager of Leiston, and was still there in April 2011 when they won the Ridgeons League and promotion. In May 2011 he had agreed to stay for season 2011/12, and with the team top of the table won the Manager of the Month award in December 2011. He won promotion with the club to the Ryman Premier League at the end of the 2011/12 season, and remained in charge for the 2012/13 season. With Leiston in mid-table in the Ryman Premier League on 1st February 2013 he resigned as their manager stating he had taken them as far as he felt possible. On 6th February 2013 Needham Market announced that he had agreed a four-year contract to become their manager again from the start of the 2013/14 season and in the interim period he would be at the club preparing for the role. On 23rd March 2013 he was put in immediate control of team affairs at Bloomfields. He continued at the start of the 2013/14 season, August 2013 and led the side into the Ryman North play-offs in April 2014 in which they were unsuccessful. The 2014/15 season saw him lead his side to the Ryman North League title on 25th April 2015 and promotion to the Ryman Premier League. He was named as the Ryman North Manager of the Season at The Ryman League AGM in June 2015. He remained as the Marketmen's manager throughout the 2015/16 season. He was again in charge throughout the 2016/17 season as the club won the Suffolk Premier Cup on 8th May 2017. This was his last game as manager of the club as he became Chairman of Needham Market FC Ltd. He was with the club at the start of the 2017/18 season before on 2nd October he was appointed once again manager of AFC on a three and half year contract, taking over on 5th October 2017.

Panache Mundawarara
A central attacking midfielder (b 10/05/01) and a first year AFC Academy player when he was named as a substitute on 4th November 2017. He played for the U16's during the 2016/17 and at the start of the 2017/18 season for both the Under 18's and Reserve sides. He represented the Suffolk FA during 2016/17. He made his debut from the bench on 11th November 2017 and scored his first goal for the club on 21st November in a League Cup tie. He had limited chances throughout the 2018/19 season but remains at the club as a senior player for the 2019/20 campaign.

Kane Munday
A defender and former AFC Academy scholar he was named as a substitute in a League Cup tie on 21st November 2017 and came on to make his debut. He was previously with the Colchester United Academy. Signed a contract with the club at the start of the 2018/19 season but after failing to gain a regular place and following a loan spell with Hadleigh United left to join Halstead Town on 27th November 2018 where he remains for the 2019/20 season

Nathan Munson
‘Munno’ a goalkeeper (b 10/11/74), he played for Colchester United where he was a professional for two seasons (2 apps 92/94) and also at a number of Essex clubs such as Billericay Town, Wivenhoe Town, Stanway Rovers and Harwich & Parkeston. He joined Needham Market in season 2005/06 but followed manager Mark Morsley to King’s Marsh for the 2006/07 season. On 12th March 2007 he signed a contract to stay with the club until the end of the 2007/08 season. However on 15th November 2007 it was announced that he was retiring from playing but would take over as the club’s goalkeeping coach from David Hunt. He however had to play in a number of games, including the Ryman League Cup Final due to Dean Neil being cup tied. On 11th April 2008 Neil was released and ‘Munno’ returned between the sticks until the end of the season when he left. In the middle of July 2008 he joined Brantham Athletic, but left in October to join Mark Morsley at Harwich and Parkeston. He however returned to Brantham at the start of the 2009/10 season in a player coach role, he remained there throughout the season. In July 2010 he remained with Brantham for the 2010/11 season. In May 2011 it was announced he was to join up again with Morsley this time at Leiston. On 10th September 2011 he started a league game for the club. He remained with the club throughout the 2011/12 season winning promotion with them, and returned for the 2012/13 season mainly as a goalkeeping coach but playing when called upon. On 25th March 2013 he had re-joined Needham Market when Mark Morsley took over as manager again, becoming part of the coaching set-up. He continued with ‘The Bloomfields’ club throughout the 2013/14 season. The club reached the play-offs but were unsuccessful. He remained in season 2014/15 and helped the side win promotion to the Ryman Premier League after winning Ryman North on 25th April 2015. In May 2015 he signed a five-year contract to stay with them until 2020. In the Queens New Years Honours 2016 he was awarded the Order Of British Empire for services to counter-terrorism. He continued with 'The Marketmen in season 2016/17 and was in the squad on 7th January 2017 and remained until the end of the season. At the start of the 2017/18 season he was still with Needham Market and still there on 4th November 2017. In February 2018 he was appointed Assistant Manager at the club.
