Ryan is already a 200+ appearance maker for the club and knows the club inside out in terms of how it operates, the group behind the club, the day to day running of the place and most importantly the volunteers and fans. I'm sure those of you who remember Ryan from previous campaigns will more than welcome his return.

This is a big signing for AFC on the pitch with Ryan's passion for winning football matches, driving standards and the experience he has gained winning this league with Bishops Stortford and then at Billericay.

Ryan's ability to defend the box will be a huge asset as wall as set pieces for and against and he's one of the strongest players aerially in the local non league scene.

Off the pitch Ryan will be equally important as he has a young family who we will be welcoming to our games with open arms and as he is a local player too this is an indication of how we want to recruit this season, adding to the already brilliant group from last season.
