AFC Sudbury Academy are looking to recruit four additional volunteer assistant coaches to
work with our academy weekend teams on the following days;

Saturday - Boys Academy Assistant Coach vacancies x 2

Sunday - Girls Academy Assistant Coach vacancies x 2

These roles are ideally suited for coaches who wish to gain experience by working alongside
our experienced lead staff and with our full time students (16 to 19 years). For coaches
looking to achieve their UEFA C/B licence this is an ideal opportunity to access more
matchday’s and enhance game understanding. Alongside this three of our staff team are FA
coach educators who will provide support and guidance.

In recent years our full time staff recruitment has been from the volunteer workforce.
Evidence of this is Aaron Pengelly and Geoff Godwin who both had volunteered within our
youth development phase section before joining our full time academy.
