AFC Sudbury is delighted to announce that club-wide supporter, Bar and Function Manager, Ash Webb has accepted an additional part time role, responsible for ensuring the buildings are ready, safe and efficient for all the different activities conducted within.
Ash and his partner, Steph, stepped into the joint role of Bar and Functions Managers around a year ago and have proved a tremendous success.
CEO, Patrick Bell comments “As everyone involved knows, Ash and Steph have vastly improved the matchday and general experience and atmosphere at the club. Ash’s natural tendency to ensure that everything runs smoothly around the club’s ever-changing usage - from college one day, to match hosts that evening, to conference the next, then match hosts again, then nightclub, then back to a college again - has impressed all involved, and so this has been formalised within this role.”
Ash Webb adds “I'm delighted to be offered this opportunity by the club. It's a club I played for at youth level and I have enjoyed every second of being Clubhouse Bar and Function Manager since October last year. I'm eager to get started."
As part of his expanded role, Ash is also going to focus some of his busy week on providing dedicated media support for our Women’s First Team. He concludes: “Thanks to Patrick and Adrian for giving me this opportunity to work alongside the women's section, I'm looking forward to the season ahead and buzzing to be a part of it."
