As it was the last session of the year before we break up for Christmas, we played a friendly game against the U12 EJA Team.

We were provided with a really entertaining and competitive hour of football and I have no doubt the U12’s will go onto to have a very successful season as they play some amazing football.

Our boys all took turns to have 5 minutes on the sidelines and gave us a chance to view players in different positions and be able to discuss ways to improve their game.

Tonight’s Player Of The Day could very easily have been given to Matty who was confident on the ball and showed great skills with the ball and work rate off the ball, especially given that he hadn’t met many of the boys before, but we decided to give tonight’s honour to the player who took onboard the messages and hints he was given throughout the session and improved throughout the game. Well done to this weeks winner, Freddie.

Looking forward to our last game of 2023 tomorrow and hopefully we can end the year on a win, something that has eluded us at home so far this season.
