We're Chicagoing soon and thanks to Beestons we'll have more sponsorship

The Academy has announced the first of a folio of kit sponsors for this Springs tour of Chicago, Illinois. Around 50 students will be heading to the USA to play in a tournament and hopefully teach Americans a few things about ‘soccer’.

The sponsor if Beestons; Suffolk's longest running and the UK's third oldest privately owned and family-run coach and bus operator. With their years of experience and large fleet of modern, well-maintained vehicles, parties of all sizes can travel in complete comfort and style with Beestons. They also take great pride in their experienced, professional staff, who are able to deal with all types of travel requirements in an efficient and effective manner.

Beeston Operations Director, Tom Munson, comments “We jumped at the chance to support this tour, because travel is in our blood, and we know how much travel improves the mind – and these young people are going to come back from this having had a truly life enhancing experience. We are especially impressed by the way that the club has been able to support some students from low-income households, so that everyone can be part of the collective experience.”

Academy Head Craig Power concludes “We are delighted to have Beestons on board, pardon the pun... As Tom implies, all the extra funding we can raise helps us to be able to afford for everyone to experience the tour. In past years, students have come back looking a foot taller after their first time on a plane, or even in a hotel. We are really grateful for this support.”
