What not to miss

Let's be honest, i've had too many Monday mornings when I come to do this write up when i've had to look around for some scant consolation after the week just passed but definitely not this time around as firstly our women's 1st team secured their place in next season's National League and on Saturday the Men's 1st team to big strides to do the same in the Southern League Premier. There's still a lot of work to do but considering where we were 2 weeks ago we are right back in the hunt and we can smell blood!
The Ressie's also won their first game in a fair few weeks as well as U15 and U16 success in the County Cup semi finals.

Ok, all that said, those are now behind us and we have a brand spanking new week ahead of us.

Tue 16th
We have Walking Football on at the club from 4pm for Men or Women over 50 and if you'd like to get involved in that please contact Graham Coleman on 07514-986201 or email at gmcoleman@gmail.com

Wed 17th
At home with a 1pm KO our Girls Academy take on BSC Tottenham while on the road our Boys travel all the way up to Durham to face Park View in the National College Cup Semi Final with a midday KO.

Thu 18th
Our U18's are at home with an 8pm KO as they take on FC Clacton and for those of you who aren't aware it's training night down at the club so both our 1st teams, both men's and women's will be working out on the 3G from around 6:30pm

Fri 19th
Our Grassroots U14 Yellows are in action under the lights with a fixture against Walsham Le Willows with an 8pm KO, always a great atmosphere and occasion when the grassroots games take place in the evening.

Sat 20th
The Men's 1st Team are at home to Long Eaton United with a 3pm KO in the Southern League Premier as the momentum builds in our race to escape the drop. Make no mistake about it, another win here will be as massive as it is imperative. It's our final home game of the season and an AFC Club day so all Grassroots and EJA teams are invited to parade on the pitch in their kit which should help to make it quite a sight. Come on Yellows this is the big one now, time to really be seen and heard.

Whilst the Ressies take to the road to face Framlingham Town also with a 3pm KO

Whilst earlier our U15's are taking on Kesgrave Reds at 10am and then our U14's JPL side face Watford Ladies Wasps at midday.

Sun 21st
Our Women take to the road in their penultimate league fixture of the season as they face Norwich City with a 2pm KO

While back at home..

Our U16 Blues EJA side take on Aveley with a 10am KO in the and our U14's take on Needham Market with an 11:45am KO before we host Sudbury Sports Women as they take on Blackmore Ladies with a 2pm KO

Plenty to get your teeth into there, massive games left right and centre. COME ON YOU YELLOWS! See you at 4 of them perhaps :) maybe even more

Don't forget also that the Clubhouse is now back up and running with Ash and Steph and providing the kind of service we all love to see but if you'd like to hire it out for your celebration, conference, expo etc then please contact us on 07775 865815 or via email at afcsudburyclubhouse@gmail.com.
